As a rule i don't normally bet on the first few games of the season, however theres nothing wrong with making a few predictions.
11/08/07 3.75 Sunderland v Tottenham 2.26 Draw 3.35 sunderland will want to make a big impression in there first game of the season, however i don't think they will have enough to beat spurs, Spurs don't look a bad price at 2.26 though this being the first game i would prefer to play it a bit safer and just lay the black cats. - lay sunderland
2.58 Bolton v Newcastle 3.1 Draw 3.35 Big Sams first game in charge of newcastle is against his former club bolton, again i am not confident in Boltons chances in this game so would prefer to lay them instead of deciding upon a draw / newcastle. - lay bolton
3.4 Derby v Portsmouth 2.46 Draw 3.3 derby will be playing infront of a packed out croud after selling a record ammount of season tickets (more than chelsea), 2.46 dosn't look that bad on portsmouth, but again a cautious home lay. - lay derby
1.73 Everton v Wigan 6.00 Draw 3.75 I feel wigan will struggle this term, and everton arn't a bad side at home, so a home win for me. - back everton
2.8 Middlesbrough v Blackburn 2.9 Draw 3.30 This looks a tough match, not much between the 2 teams and has draw written all over it to me. - back draw
2.22 West Ham v Man City 3.90 Draw 3.35 city had more success on there travels than at home last season, however a lot has changed in both sides over the summer, and this is not a game i would like to call. a Man city lay would probably be my choice however i wouldn't put my money where my mouth is. - lay man city 4.30 Aston Villa v Liverpool 2.06 Draw 3.45 another tricky one to predict, a lot of money will be on liverpool in this one, however the odd's look a tad short for me to really consider backing them, i don't think that villa can get the win however i wouldn't rule out the draw, best option would be a home lay. - lay villa
12/08/07 1.36 Arsenal v Fulham 13.00 Draw 5.30 despite the loss of Henry i still feel confident in a home win here. - back arsenal
1.26 Chelsea v Birmingham 17.00 Draw 6.60 cant see past a home win here. - back chelsea
1.25 Man Utd v Reading 18.00 Draw 6.60 Sunday seems 'home banker' day, again man utd should have way too much for reading here. - back man utd.
